warm thoughts on a cold day

this is the coldest day in newfoundland in 3 years. minus 25 degrees celcius (not counting the windchill). but the sun is shining into the house with ever growing intensity. and it's march, so spring isn't too far off.
and with it, garden plans.
if you don't have a vegetable garden, you can still enjoy the beauty of locally grown organic produce. kim and cherie at the greenhouse in little rapids are once again offering weekly produce baskets. the baskets can be picked up every tuesday at the greenhouse or at a couple of spots in town. they're now taking names and are limiting the number to 40, so contact them quickly at kim@thegreenhouse.ca to get a spot.

Not to wish time away...but I long for the day!!! I can't wait to hold and smell those tomatoes as do you and many more I'm sure.
Thanks for the reminder of tumultuous tomatoes.
