i have a fear of flying. and suffer from extreme vertigo. but when i turned 60 this year, i decided i wouldn't pass up experience out of irrational fear. my friend tess, who is an artist, received a grant to pay for a helicopter ride over gros morne and yesterday invited brenda and i to join her.

Congratulations! I'm not 60 but suffer from the same afflictions. Gros Morne is on my to see list and to see it from the air must have been breath taking.
